Workshops will include:
*Expressive Worship
*Basic modern dance and ballet technique
*Movement to help expand your “dance vocabulary”
*Use of props (flags, banners, billows, streamers, tambourines, etc)
*Creative Worship Ideas
*Prophetic Dance and expressive worship
*How to move in unity with other dancers
*Presentation/Choreography Do’s & Don’ts
*Learn a Segment or all of a Reproducible Dance

Friday: 6pm registration & doors open
7:00 pm Dance Exchange and Creative Worship Time
Saturday: Workshops in the morning and afternoon
Free Time to relax, reflect, and/or enjoy the lake
7:00 pm Dance Exchange and Creative Worship
Sunday: same day schedule as Friday (we will be ending at 5:00 p.m.)
During our Worship Times we will provide an environment that fosters freedom and creativity. There will be time to unashamedly express our worship and praise to Him, time to listen to His heart, and encouragement to “speak” what He says through movement.
Note: Please wear modest, comfortable clothing and feel free to bring banners, flags, streamers, and tambourines if you like.
Where will I stay? What do I need?
The DANCE RETREAT is being held at Camp Pinnacle in Voorheesville, NY
Just 30 min from Albany and 90 min from Utica www.camppinnacle.org
We will be staying in the beautiful Mekeel Lodge, having meals prepared by the Pinnacle staff at the dining hall, and will be having workshops in the gym and chapel buildings.
Also we will be having some free time –
you might want to bring shoes for a walk about on some of the 800 mountain top acres.
What to bring: your Bible, modest, casual clothes you can move in, dance shoes/ballet slippers if you have them, bedding, toiletries, banners, flags, streamers, tambourines, etc, a dance to share (if you have one).
If you have a special diet please bring what you need to eat – you may use the kitchen
(refrigerator, stove, microwave, etc)
MEALS INCLUDED for Saturday breakfast, lunch and supper, and Sunday breakfast and lunch.
